i actually disagree. the blue cs are awesome for the first few mm, but then grip up on you in the middle of the slide.
when i had them it was the most annoying thing. I would not recommend them for high speed freeriding.

guess youre not going fast enough...haha cause you're the only person Ive ever heard say that about any rf's. I've ridden every duro, and both shapes in every duro and have never had issues with them gripping up mid slide...

You know its not the fall that kills you. It is the sudden deceleration at the end.

For standys around 20 feet they are awesome. I was doing some 40ft ish stand ups on em and didnt real like the feel but for anything in 20 feet they are my fave

I had a 70mm 80a cs set as well and had the same mid slide grip up problem, I've ridden many rfs and never had this and my friends set felt awesome, so I think it was a bad set.

If you were going fast, you were probably doing it wrong. If you weren't going fast, you were definitely doing it wrong, because you should have been going fast.

Re: S9's race formula
I don't know about centersets because I only ride lipped wheels but I love 72mm 80a for everything. They're fast and buttery even when new when you are skating tech dh; once you break them down a few mm they are sweet for freeride. I have 74mm 78a for my haul ass wheel and I'm getting some 70mm 78a as well.

Re: S9's race formula
My friend had a set. He slid them lots without a bearing spacer and he loved them, however I was a bit sketched to ride them because the cores were so shakey after so much abuse. They definitely last forever, and shouldnt slide bad once broken in. As a general rule, anything s9 is should be good.

Re: S9's race formula
I don't know what your talking about but most of their decks are stupid cheap and pretty decent, all their wheels are great. I can't believe how awesome pretty much all their wheels are. Plus they are all long lasting. 60 dollars for a decent bamboo cruiser or 69 dollars for a large pintail that can be chopped into a dope sauce speed board ain't nothin ta **** with.

Re: S9's race formula
Not sure for the deck. But wheels of s9 all seems legit exept the biothane one.

Re: S9's race formula
Anything that isn't TS Ghost or RF is horrid imo
Their not DH Division boards sorta blow. Bamboo Flexy W cave on some and essentially zero concave with too much sag on the others.

Re: S9's race formula
I don't know man, I have ridden a bunch different wheels now from the S9 line up all of them have a decent or above average slide and also there are allot of boards outside the downhill division that rock. Mini shaka, super shaka, co-pilot, goddess of speed, deep end series double kicks, carbon decline, and some others.
Plus most of their decks retail for cheaper than 100 bucks besides the downhill division. If you are looking for something cheap to start out with, it's not a bad dealio.

Re: S9's race formula
Hi people, I have a set of 82a 70mm CS Raceforms. When coming to the slide, it is choppy and awfull, some of you have experienced the same? Btw I weight 165 lbs. Thanks!

Nope not even the time I slid them first. it's either your technique, your pavement, or you don't have spacers in your wheels.
