First thing, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
Second, if you want wheels that will slide and still be grippy, go with either the lime or lemon big zigs or zig zags. That is if you're doing dh. If youre talking about just riding around town, and not going too fast, but want to do some sliding, get some retro freerides in lime. Still have a fair amount of grip, slide, drift, and they're uber sexy.

Re: Orange Big-Zigs
in my opinion, they would be really grippy at first, but easier to break in than lemons or limes. i think they would be sick on an Apex 37 with 200mm original trucks. good for carving/commuting.
you'll have great fun with them!!!!!!
If anybody has a bustin strike in ur crew... give em props for me!!
Don't worry about it... if your having fun, who cares?

Re: Orange Big-Zigs
I have a set that Ive used quite a bit, and they have a pretty good amount of grip. I can pump very hard and not break free unexpectedly, and when I give them that push to do a 180, they slide very smoothly, especially on good parking lot or street pavement. The only complaint I have is they arent a smooth ride on rough pavement, but that should be expected with a wheel that hard.

Re: Orange Big-Zigs
I use them on my longest wheelbase LDP deck and they are fast and grippy. I don't try to slide. I originally only used them as front wheels, but after they started to cone I relegated them to the rear. I've got new oranges up front now. All this came about after swapping out fronts and rears (lemons) and trying to slide. The coned oranges gripped better in back than the lemons did in front.
note: I run a dead rear truck, Seismic ST dewedged an additional 8 degrees.

Re: Orange Big-Zigs
with the duro on these wheels its not such a hard duro that there is not grip but they are at a high enough duro that you could do some sliding on them and if you were to dh with them you would do a lot of drifting
