Default Bearings/Wheel Help

It's getting to be that time where I need to get new wheels and bearings. I ride the Loaded Dervish and I mostly stick to carving and sliding. I am probably going to get REDS bearings like always. but I was looking for some new wheels. and reccommendations? I have heard Bigzigs and Orangtangs are great...

id say go with a slalom style wheel, (orangatangs, zigs, etc.) they have a good mix between grip and slide.

freerides would be awesome on a dervish for standup sliding, but might not be grippy enough for carving also like you said

what's the highest your wallet's willing to pay?

flashbacks slide really well and really smooooooth and are pretty cheap (30-35 bucks)
retro freerides are very nice too
or maybe go with otangs or something (never rode those but have seen and heard a lotta good things about them)

i've have flashbacks (84a) and they slide pretty far when i'm going like 10mph
i also have lemons retro freerides and they drift and slide smooth too but ehh, kinda loud. they also grip real well

big zigs have lips that are more meant for grip than for sliding, but still slide real well
(i have pink big zigs but they're kinda too choppy and soft for sliding)

I've heard the Retro 66' Zigs are awesome
and the Bigzigs sound awesome for a good price. I think ill pick a slalom style wheel. I was using Abec 11s before this. so I hope it'll be a refreshing step up!
Thanks for the advice!
