I just got in my Electric Blue Cults and I will give a review once I have them thoroughly broken in. Unless someone beats me to it *hint* *hint*

Damn I want some cults so bad =/

Argh, I wish someone would review the blue thane already.. I want the blue ones, they look so sweeeet.. but if the orange preform better, I will go with those hands down.. at the moment it looks like the orange DO preform better for what I want.. grip and speed. =/

This is by no means a real review, but I just got back from the first few break in runs with the blue blend wheels. All I really have to say is that they feel soft, very grippy, and smooth. I will definitely write a review once they are broken in, but so far so good. The setup is a 2009 Hellcat with Randals, Venom bushings, and Biltin bearings.

Finally broke in my Gamma Rays last night and these are beautiful wheel's. Up to this point I'd used these for straight DH and was very impressed but I ran by third base and slid into home breaking the cherry. I got rid of the mold release and slid these wheels beautifully on my top mount. It was my first time sliding the wheels and sliding a top mount and both were great experiences. I felt very secure in turns but when it was time to let go they did . I had to pay attention to when these wanted to hook back up because they do so efficiently and want to keep rolling.

I just ordered a set of the 83.5a gamma rays for cruising/mild downhill/sliding and I'm pretty stoked. My last wheels were like JELLO! I'm a little worried about everyone saying how grippy they are and I'm afraid I won't be able to slide them...

You will be able to slide them, I was able to break them out brand spanking new.... but why would you want to? Unless you mean like shut downs, drifts, pendys... etc.

New to me courtesy of USPS as of last night. A sweet baby blue color and nice shape. Weather is rain today, so I might wait until Tuesday for a ride.

Setup on a Crystal Mountain topmount, Paris 180s, red standard Venoms. I <3 my rockered pintail. It even pumps great on the flats.

im liking my death rays less and less. the lips are getting thinner and the the slides are getting choppier. this is the first wheel ive ever expirienced that gets choppier with wear. all my wheels are right around the 60mm-65mm area so im hoping it will get better

DOH! Sounds about right though, as the lip gets less supported, it'll deform more leading to choppier slides. I've been keeping mine fairly fresh for grippy goodness, but we'll see how they go. Definitely noticing a loss of grip, but not by much.

I have come to a bit of a dilemma I will be soon purchasing a lush revo with some 42 degree randals, but i still don't know whether i should buy the orange cults or blue cults. I am edging toward the blues but i havent heard a full review on them yet soo im still undecided any tips anyone?

There's your stupid review. If you looked in the wheels forum it was near the top.

After another hard session up north I've got my final opinions
I'm speaking specifically about the death rays(orange)

Break in is relatively easy. The wheels are perfect for fast dh and tech courses for the first 7mm. Drifts are buttery and the fat lips provide the grip you need. As the outer lips thin out the slide gets a little chattery and predrifts take a little effort comparitively. Once you muscle through a few more mm the wheels get perfect for slashing around and tight neighborhood runs. They get just right once the inner lips are gone

these wear much better than otangs. I previously thought otherwise but they are more durable and retain more grip than either 4prez or inheats. I have yet to put a serious flatspot on my set that hasn't slid itself out
