**NEW** Comet Project..the LOKI..**

Hey ya'll.
Jason and I are excited to start producing a short wheelbase PAGAN, we are calling the LOKI.
We've always talked about how a 30" wheelbase on the current pagan shape, would offer a nice alternative, to the fairly huge 32.25" wheelbase of the PAGAN.
Think FSM wheelbase, with a directional shape, and more mellow rocker.
This would be a downhill board, but would work better for smaller, lighter folks or for someone who wanted a turnier, grippier setup for speedboarding.

Im really inspired by some of the kids tearing up Maryhill on slalom decks, and I thought that a dh shape inspired by that idea, would kill.
a lot of dh takes place under 50mph, and sometime you just don't want or need the stability of a big wheelbase. The Loki would still be a dh specific shape. With Comets amazing rocker/concave combintion.

Comet is also willing to offer the same pre-order offer they did for the FSM.
We are looking to release this thing by June 21st,the summer solstice.

How many folks would be interested in a LOKI?

Im thinking drop and flush..just like the big one.
for sure on the wheel clearance....hes started doing wheel wells in the new Pagans, similar to the FSM's.

I'd be interested in the future,as I will stick to a Pagan Drop,but I found the Loki a pretty good idea.As I'm 5.5ft and weight 125 pounds.But I guess it won't be worth for a long time,as I'm only 15.

I think a Flush/Drop would be pretty nice,I'm just expecting some awesome graphics from it!

definitely can't afford something like this right now, but i'd be very interested in this as well.

Would it be possible to do three "different" shapes? By different shapes, I mean change the cutouts depending on what the rider specifies for mounting options. A topmount would have little in the way of cutouts/wheel wells (enough for 42* 70mm, as MHM stated), a topflush would have a little more, drop flush even more, and full on drop have the largest cutouts.

There's plenty of awesome boards out there that would be even better if you could pick different mounting options and the board would actually alter to fit those options, and Comet could easily step up to the plate and be the first to offer these customizations.

30" isnt short for dh (its actually quite long for me) i like 27" but im going to 24-5" when i get my zealous trucks......

shortest i ran is 29 and i dont think ill go any shorter anytime soon. theres really no need.

as for the loki, please keep the width the same and maybe decrease the rocker appropriately. a rockered board is great and all, but you only need so much.

thats only possible on a top/top flush mount. and it'd possibly make for a pretty small platform to accomidate wheel clearance.

this sounds awesome except for the reduction of the Rocker, I really like the Rocker on the Pagan and wouldn't want any less. Dreaming of Indy Hybrids Flush-mounted and Freerides

we wont change the rocker. I was reffering to the rocker on the FSM, which is massive.
