Right now I feel like a D-seed would feel to damn big.. Is that true? I mean I am not THAT tal ll right now. I am leaning twords the nemisis. How much more expensive would a drop through be? But I like the switch because it is a lot cheaper. Is the 1'' drop on a nemisis lower than that of like a hellcat? Is drop through lower than a 1'' drop? Also who besides rayne has a nemisis in stock? Is the nose of the 'sis fragile like the hellcats is?

If you're like me you won't hang on to one board for more than a year. Outgrowing a deck would be a perfect excuse to expand the quiver.

I thought I had broken the curse when I found the setup of my dreams (race-cut revenger), but it got run over a few weeks ago and I don't want to put the work into making another one. I realized you will always be changing setups throughout your skating career.

the steez cat dosent drop, but if u mean how low theactuall board is then yes the neme is still lower. and as for the nose/tail vice versa ive onley slammed it really hard once it looked bad at first but i just keppt ridening and i swear it healed it self. this board has powers dont abuse it orthe god of revenge will be on ur ass

Stokedskateboards.com and daddiesboardshop.com in Cali should have them in stock.

The issue with the Dseed being too big isnt the issue. Its longer WB is. You said you wanted more agility so the nemesis set to 32" would be better. The price difference between the Dseed, Nem, and hellcat isnt very much if at all depending on where you look.

I have a Dseed btw. I'm 5'10" and 150lbs and I wouldnt say the board is huge, but I have plenty of extra foot space. It's not agile, but it's not a slug either.

After reading the rest of this thread I would say the Nemesis would be most logical. Worse comes to worse if you grow and need more foot space you can always get a bigger board later and keep the nemesis for freeriding.

I was just thinking, But is the width really a deciding factor between these two boards? it is a 1/4 inch difference. Anyway, I can't wait to hear that review!

Agile'ness isn't really what I am looking for in this board. I want a solid good first DH board and I think that the nemisis is what I am looking for. I plan to enter some ISGA DH races around me this year and I want a good solid board for full out racing. Not super techy runs or anything, just plain racing. After hearing that would you still reccomend the nemisis? Or the D-seed?

IMO a Hellcat would be a better choice for a flat-out DH deck.

The Nemesis DOES NOT have a longer platform than the evo.

Regardless, the Nemesis is a DOOOOPE board, yet lankier people may find issue with the footspace. I'm bulky and only about 6 feet and the standing platform is just too small for me. It would be a SICK board for me if it was only an inch or two longer. But everyone is different. The Nemesis is a great board non-the-less.

Nemesis, the bends on the Switch are too steep.
If you rest your foot at the back of the platform its very uncomfortable.

By looking at the below pic, the Dseed and Nem don't seem that radically different as far as foot platform ( 1" on each side ? ). The WB is pretty close with the Nem set to 33".

Side note. I currently have a Dseed with flipped randal 50s and I think running 42s with 85a double barrel bushings would feel better for me. How comparable in height would a Nem on randal 42s compare to a Dseed with flipped 50s if they both have 75mm wheels? Mine is currently sitting at justunder 2.5" from the ground to the bottom of the concave on the rails.

+1 for finding the classic "The nemesis is not tiny you naysayers" picture.

I just measured mine with 85mm wheels on it, I subtracted 1 cm from the height and it is about 3" from the floor to the bottom rail.

Yes, but I have paris hangers, I should have mentioned that. I don't think it should make much of a difference.
