Then people who owned the deck started posting their impressions and that turned the tide of opinion. Now a lot of people have it and they love it, myself included.
Anyway, I would personally go for the nemesis. It is my favorite board out of any I have ever ridden. I have a friend who is 6'4" 200 lbs who can ride it no problem.
The switch looks cool, but like has been said before, it is too new to get solid information on it. If you're feeling brave go for the switch without the reviews. That is what I did with the nemesis and I've never looked back.
Any update on the flush mount question if i buy a nemisis over the next couple of months?....the Rayne site still says flush? thanx, rich

Re: Switch or Nemisis for DH?
The new Nemes aren't flyshmounts. They haven't been since the 1st gen.
The people who are saying the Neme's platform is too small must have huge tucks. My back foot is 2-3" from the bend in tuck and I'm 6'3" and 175lbs.
You are not the light of my life.
Making you happy isn't my greatest dream.
Your smile is not all I live for;
I've got my own stuff going on.
But you're strange and fascinating
and I've never met anyone like you.
I want to give you everything.
Just to see what you would do with it.

Re: Switch or Nemisis for DH?
I was thinking of getting the Nemesis too, I want a really sweet setup. Anyone got one? I'm talking trucks, bushings, wheels, bearing... Also the Nemesis on Stokedskateboards.com is weird. What's up with it? Its like carved out on the graphic side where the trucks should be... why is that?
Ride what you love, and love what you ride!

Re: Switch or Nemisis for DH?
nemesis is a little taller, where as the switch is a little lower, they are both going to have a hammock feel but the switch will have more so because of the lower ride height, the other thing that will change is the amount of force you have vertically over the wheels, which is going to be a direct relation, with the height over the axles, the higher the deck, where the weight will be applied, the more vertical leverage you apply, so the nemesis will feel a little grippier then the switch,
but in the end you are splitting hairs between two great decks, which will probably both be around for another five years, because of the loyal following of each
