i think between 25-30mph. i guess i'm not as much of a speed demon as other people are on my speedboard. to get faster i'd have to go hill hunting for a bigger hill and get safety gear. i have a blast going that fast though, i can't imagine going 50mph or so that would be really crazy.

Dude first off that dude you said yeah right to is an actual speedboard who races. Look at his avatar....Second that is an old record in the Gunisse book...its broken all the time. Officially I dont know if they have changed it or not but the point is that there are a lot of people who have done faster during races and during practice/training.

Now to keep this on track as far as i know my top speed has been somewhere between 40 and 50mph. I dont know because I have never accurately been able to calculate my speed but next time i hit this one hill I am gonna set a speed trap and do the conversions to get my mph from feet per second.

Hiller Drive, Berkeley, you can go up to 65 but I don't have a perfect position and no speed-ski helmet...
And 62.55 mph is the official record (Gary Hardwick) but it was in 1998.
Now a lot of poeple beat this record every day... But not officialy

And yes my top speed is around 60

EDIT: Ask Darryl Freeman or Chris Chaput... These guys are some insane speed freaks and they have surely been over 70mph maybe more...

dont you have to have two consecutive clean runs to hold a speed record? (i think) if so, thats probably the reason why the record hasnt been broken yet.

Not so sure... Coz if you go up to 70 one time... You won't do 55 on the 2nd run... It's maybe that noone really care being between the fastest hotdogs eater in the world and the fastest woman over 300lbs in the world in the Guiness Book...

Yep, you have such a scene in Downhill Motion but I'm pretty sure they weren't going at 70... Maybe 50/55... But with the wheels they had, even on a 22/23 % hill you won't get up to that speed...
