Who wants a Sector 9 race deck?

[IF] the Sector 9 38" and 42" race decks were to become available to those who wish to ride them, who would want one? Please don't waste my time with S9 hate because I'm asking a serious question that will hopefully benefit those who answer. Don't ask me when, how or why because I don't know. Just post if you would want/buy one and maybe why...

probably yes. love the shape, concave looks nice (never felt it), really just a sweet, functional, simple board that is very appealing. wish i could get my hands on one right now, really.

I would buy one if they were in the $70 price range like your other decks. I would want one because it would an inexpensive, simple, and very viable top mount.

I'm sure some people are going to complain though if they were made available through retail.

it is true that they would lose some cool factor should they be available to everyone, but i would still probably get one sometime.

yeah it would be cool to have one of them

topmounts just feel natural compared to other dropped/ drop through boards to me, and I love the classic shape/concave of it. sexy.

Yes... i really want one. I've been try'n to get my hands on one for a while now with no luck. I've try cut'n down other S9 boards in to a simalar shape... but it's not the same.

I would highly consider buying one for these reasons
38in is a good compact sizing
sector 9 bomb hills concave which i hear is similar feels good
no nonsense maple construction

yes. a good DH board for a low price could possibly raise competition between companies resulting in better products for everyone.

Maple construction is great. If sector 9 can afford to sell their race deck for that price, other companies will spend a lot of time trying to convince us that their complex, high tech construction is better/has benefits.

i have a 42 and its a great board. everyone always talks about how the race decks have a great concave and i really agree with that. my race deck isnt my favorite deck because they are hard to get ahold of, its my favorite because its got a killer concave, it doesnt weight a ton, and its built solid. its also my favorite deck because its simple. it has a good functional shape, a good feel, and a solid build...in my opinion thats all a board needs to awesome.

i would definitely buy a 38 to accompany my 42 if they were released, and im pretty sure those two boards would see the most riding from me.
