    Take up slacklining, it actually helps build some of that muscle to give you a little extra. Indoboards are great too.

    but, the best thing you can do is just find long runs. I hit mt. greylock a couple days ago, and four runs of 6.5 miles had me BEAT.

    West coast guys skate gmr, all the time. All the time. Its long, windy, and bumpy. It really works your legs. Indo board works wonders.

    2nded for the slackline! they work wonders!! practice a drop knee until you find your ballence than try the euro tuck. now thats a challenge!!!

    that's not so bad to me anymore
    its really roads with bad pavement that eat my legs alive....
    miles of sliding and crap pavement
    4 miles
