    Default ID this Insect

    Hey all,

Can anyone ID the model/Year of this deck? If I can get a few confirms or an authentic pic from Insect online to confirm it, that'd be really appreciated.

    Thanks!

My guess is carbon fiber lightning bug (2005-2007) with what appears to be an aftermarket kicktail bolted on.

considering we can't see how thick the nose is it could be either a mosquito (their "flex" freeride) or the lightning bug (their dropthrough speedboard).

The mosquito's nose/tail are thicker than the lightning bug

Edit: Although I think it's a lightning bug too the board doesn't look quite symmetrical like the mosquito

Oh #### i think thats my old board!

Insect Lightning Bug, little bit of damage to the CF on the left rail, some nose damage too (can't see with that guard on)

Great board, too narrow for me. It's been through some mad crashes - glad to see it still looking good as new! Indestructible that thing...

I bought it from Rustyfriend in 2006, sold to touchdownturnaround in 2007 - where is the pic from?

    From when I sold it:
