 Down hill boards that will grip your back foot.
I am wanting to buy a hellcat. But I am worried about my back foot slipping back when I am in a tuck. A dropped board would be what I am talking about, but I am not sure if I want/need a dropped board. Any advice? Thanks.

You can replicate this feeling by adding foam blocks to a drop-through / topmount.
other than that most of the major builders make a dropped board, find one you like the look of...

throw vicious griptape on any board and you back foot isn't going anywhere. i'd say get the hellcat

Thats what I'm leaning towards. But there is so much selection for a drop-through. It seems like a good choice since I can make it low, and I can top mount it when the time comes.

Don't worry. Your feet won't slip with the right stance/tuck and some decent grip tape. Even popsicle griptape holds well enough.

The foam wedges are pretty sweet. If I ever get a drop-through speedboard again, I'll add it on. I've just gotten used to the feeling of dropped boards, and like it.
