you need to either post exact measurements of the crack and where it is or post a picture.

I'd like to see some GOOD pics of it as well. Rayne sometime comes through with oddball stuff like that. Send me some pics to chadd@stokedskateboards.com or post them here.

So do all the 09 have white tops? or did they make a batch with wood ones? On the Stoked site they advertise the white ones( which i wanted).
On the Stoked site, we use the images that the manufacturer provides. The product varies from run to run, in both quality and look. The Hellcats were another good example. Some of the top sheets were not perfect and customers emailed us about it. Rayne said they were good. And once they were gripped and ridden, no one had an issue.
Do you plan on gripping the deck?

This is the image that has been on the Stoked site since the '09 model came out:
I am pretty sure that clearly shows a wood top. And it came from the Rayne site. If you want to take a picture with a 5mp or higher camera, so we can see the crack, and send it to the guys at Rayne for inspection I am sure they would be happy to check it out. I would like to see that one too.
It looks like the top sheet is completely intact? Does your fingernail fit in the crack?
Could the crack be a seam between two pieces of wood?

I know its wood but i just thought the white colored top looked sick.... i was going to use clear grip tape. On my deck the clear laminate top is still intact, the crack is looks like a finger nail would fit. I was just concerned that they sold me a refurbished deck because i got it for 134.99 and now on the stoked site the avenger is selling for 144.99 last time i checked.

Rayne has said that it's not uncommon for cracks to occur where there is bends in the board caused from drops and concave
if it's under the glass then it is most likely filled with epoxy and won't be a problem to you at all
stop stressing, ride your board

Stoked doesn't sell refurbs. So there actually isn't a crack, this is a difference in coloration under the glass and epoxy, smooth finish top coat. I get it, you don't have a structural issue.
