The only con is the weight, it's heavy yet at the same time quite indestructable. Sometimes I swear that the extra weight makes you go faster on a hill compared to wood or carbon decks. Aerodynamics of a blade, the SaltFlat is a lifetime product. Tanner and Wes have done massive R&D and take pride in every board they sell.

those boards are really different. I rode a BS for a long time and loved it. Aluminum feels really responsive. It's also really low for a topmount since its so thin. The BS is going to be more rough, but more grippy and lively, and the Pagan is going to be more dampening and has rocker (which feels pretty cool). They'll be about the same weight. SundaeSkates.com has awesome sales on both of these right now too.

The only con for the salt flat is that it's crazy dangerous to leave around the house where you might walk in the middle of the night or early morning....your ankle will yield before it does.
But seriously, my salt flat has taken chunks out of curbs and rock walls--it's indestructible

I ride a salt flat and a flush pagan and I have to say I love them both. Best thing I like about the saltflat is that it rains a lot here and I can ride in any conditions. The pagan is a bit more comfortable, but that is just because I broke my ankle and I am just starting to skate again and find it easier to push. Both awesome boards for sure. Pick one and you will be pleased.

damn. bad memories! i was makin a sandwich a few weeks ago and i had my avenger leaning on a cabinet. i forgot it was there and bumped it with my hip and the tip of the board slammed right onto the pinkie toe. if it was a bombsquad i would have broken my foot. watch out for metal boards. and if you are at a park, watch out for other people's ankles. you could break someone's ankle if you are going fast enough

    go with the sf

its one board you will ALWAYS have (unless it gets run over, or any extreme weight is put on it)

set up it weighs as much as a hellcat, and it's super aero

    you won't regret it.

but if your not satisfied, Tanner's a super cool guy.

AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND gator (super grippy grip on sundae skates) grip on it

yeah i did a science project on weight and how it affects speed. the more weight the faster. so it's not so bad. how does it handle turns anyway?
