Topmounts tend to be grippier, ride higher, and slightly more nimble. Some may argue they are more prone to wobbles as well.
Dropthroughs tend to be driftier, ride lower, and are slightly less nimble.
Theoretically, they should wobble less, because when you are riding a dropthrough/dropdown deck, by standing in a position below the trucks, turning requires you to swing in a slightly up and down motion, as opposed to leaning right and left on a topmount, although I personally don't find the difference to be too noticeable.
If you like to drift around corners, grab a dropthrough/dropdown. If you like to grip through corners, grab a topmount.

that is an awesome set up.
ever since i started longboarding ive always loved drop throughs and drop decks, ive ridden the nemesis (still one of my favorites), demonseed, evo, hell cat, speed carver, and many other drop through/decks. Then my friends finally convinced me to get an Avenger and i have not been back on any of my old boards yet the avenger does it all and feels more stable then my nemesis down hill. I weigh about 145-150 also and im running bear 852's flipped hangers with pumpkins on the bottom (board side) and red 92a Retro reflex barrels top (ground side) the board is super nimble very turny still and rediculously stable the bushings are tightened down just enough that theres no slop in the truck so pretty loose. Im riding it with durians (will prolly switch to 70mm purps) and it grips when i need it to but if i do need to drift around a corner or throw a speed check i can. The 09 Avenger is my go to board for anything ive got it set up on the shortest wheel base and it just feels awesome. Plus top mounts are always more durable.
but if you are interested in a drop like the other guys said i would check out
clutch
demon seed (imo a little to much for <40 mph)
hell cat
drop speed
nemesis
Kill switch
sayshun - cant remember the model but they have some nice boards
switch or spud
and there are plenty of others.
for trucks i really like bears but everyone likes a different style truck so if you like what you have already have on the schmitar (spelling) then i would get the same thing just some different bushings. if you get a drop deck i would prolly go 75mm wheels and on a top mount prolly 70mm
