Weight Distribution
Alright, so let me know if I am wrong, first off I never use silverfish but I want your thoughts.
Two questions. .
With a shorter axel will you be faster since your weight is distributed more evenly through out the wheels contact patches? It seems like the longer the axel, the more weight is on the inner wheels which would cause you to be slower?
Also, with a shorter wheelbase will you speed up since your weight is easier to distribute through the board? I know that when in a tuck its hard to keep your weight not in the front but if its possible to keep your weight in the middle of the board as much as possible, will you be better off? I'm not good at explaining this but I would really like your thoughts.
I like limes when I can get them

Re: Weight Distribution
No, neither axle width or wheel base affects speed at all.

it doesnt work like that.
shorter axels will be more twitchy and require less leverage to turn than a larger axel. shorter wheels bases also grip more than larger wheelbases. from what i know, your weight is distributed evenly despite the length of axel, though spread out over a longer distance on longer trucks it is still "even".

youre right in the physics, but the generic rider will turn a small axled truck the same as a larger one...i think i worded that horribly, but you get the point, a narrower truck grips better

well yeah if you want to talk about truck mechanics they still turn in the way because theyre still trucks but the ride and how quick/how leverage needed to turn them is entirely different

Re: Weight Distribution
wider trucks help you roll over things better, since they have a longer arm to go up and down on.
random bit of info.
