gnarliest footbrake ever

I saw a video recently, which had what had to be the most gnar brake Ive ever seen. But now I cant find the video. Im almost positive it was at paskapoo 09. The rider went into a drop knee foot brake, but reached his rear foot out infront of him, held it there, held it there, dropped for a second or two, and then brought it back up into a tuck. It was rediculous! Anyone got a link to this?

i think luge wins it though, ive seen some videos where every time a foot touched the ground there was smoke and a lot of it.

[i'm pretty sure u are talking about jeff "woody" woodfine using the brazilian style footbrake, but with the other foot to break...very strange...i think half the reason for doing it was to throw off the person right behind you...just my guess.

I always enjoy faking a footbreak right before the turn so they guy behind footbreaks and i dont touch the ground, just go back into my tuck. sneaky sneaky

Yeah, I saw the Landy vid you saw, and that footbrake stood out to me when I saw it too.
Oh, and as long as you have a dry road and cut up car tyres on your feet you'll get smoke when you brake. Looks awesome, but not really that impressive in real life.

You sure? I stand corrected. Still, Silva brakes that way too I think. There's a version of that manoeuvre where you brace the foot that goes on the road by putting your arm behind it, grabbing the rail. I've tried it a couple of times, but tend to end up with my face in the dirt. I'll stick to my stand up and wobble version.

douglas silva is a big guy, but not that big...that guy's name is "gorducho" don't know his really name....but he is from brazil.
