When should I buy precisions?

I just sent an order for some surf rodz CNC trucks! I cannot wait to try them out... I doubt I'll be wedging them hahaha

Wow, my 08 set has my king pin sitting so low is a magnet for anything 1/4" off the ground. I hit everything. I abandoned the stock sphericals and JimZs for Reflex barrels and feels looser on the DH, which I like, but they are certainly no Kahas. I'm alos running them on a Hellcat the modification that leaves the top bushing in the spherical space makes my board rattle. did you experience this?

You're running just 2 bushings, correct? In place of your top barrel, try a soft cone.
Yeah it's noisy. Lower spherical.

perhaps one day I will feel the need for precisions. I remember two years ago, I had my heart set on some Smokies... a year ago I was completely set on some Talons... yet here I am today, still shredding cast trucks and lovin every minute of it.... Bears, Randals, and Indy's all day

if ever there is a few hundred $$$ burning a hole in my bank account, I might have to bite! You never know....maybe come April, I'll need to buy some shiny new [tax-deductibile] precision trucks. Yes, Uncle Sam, of course those $400 skateboard trucks are a business expense!

Dopamine Dave once told me that RII 180's w/ 42 plates is all anybody really needs for a great DH setup. I agree if your skills, body and mind can naturally be at peace on high-speed runs. I'm not one of those skaters, so the precisions give me an almost a perceived and sometime evident stability that aids my mind. I believe a great DH run consist of the body (skill) and mind being in total sync. One without the other, things could get ugly.
