It's verry light. But it doesn't need maguns. It need luge hangers. As far as I can remember I've onely ever seen 1 with maguns. The rest was basic 180's or luge/comp hangers, with at least 1 with JimZ hangers (-DJE-'s board)

There is one ply of carbon to make it stiffer and lighter. I'm gonna put Bear Smokey top mounted on this one ans leave the JimZ's to my Flushcut.

    Basch,

Have you ever ridden maguns? How do they feel? Are they worth the money in your opinion? Do they even turn at speed under 40?

I have ridden Maguns for 1 run. And they are verry verry solid. The guy had 'm mounted on ya Sc8 type board with verry little flex. They are amazingly stable even with the soft setting he had (red khyro's I think they were) and turning is like rinding train tracks. But carving 'm is verry hard. They want to go straight on and not much else. If you do take a turn the will stick! Even with the krypto's it was mounted with they didn't drift.
Yes they are worth it if you have it and yoiu have the hills to use 'm.

It's more a matter of "are you willing to pay that much cash on trucks"
If you are they are worth it. If you're in doubt you should try 'm first.

that sick! IMO 400 isn;t that much for parts considering snowboard bindings can be 350 and not even help.

I know you said it is hard to carve but is it hard to corner with them? I bet they will be sick with jimz bushings.

They are good for cornering. Esp with soft bushings. But they will hold the line a bit much sometimes , so don't expect it to be easy. It's hard work with corners, so do NOT use overly grippy wheels. Just go krypto's or fly's

You can get TO grippy. Ther's a reason people ride maguns with krypto's and fly's. I think it might get really hard to steer with to grippy whels. They'll prob try and keep going straight.

+ remember you'll still want to be able to slide

I see what you are saying, but yeah, I am still stuck on the fact that wheels (especially wheels) are very opinion-based products. So for me, it's vents and for you, it's gumballs!

i like vents over gummies but gummies are certainly no wheel to frown upon.

Gumballs and Speedvents are meant to drift smoothly.

    Grab some ZigZags. Far better.

I definitely agree - I tossed some Zigs on my Avenger and that thing slices through hills and corners like it gets paid to. No way I'm running any other wheel on that piece.
