gabriel: paris's fit great with stims, i would recommend eliminators.
crails with stims should be avoided, they hinder most of the lean. so if you go for crails stick with barrels

I'm pretty sure it lowers the truck, and shortens the wheelbase, decreasing leverage when you turn.. blahblahblah
it's pretty visible when you look at a paris hanger because one bushing seat is more shallow than the other

hmmm i see... well when i used paris hangars with randal plates, i tried flipping them and the kingpin was set at an awkward angle, too awkward to fit bushings on. so i kept it unflipped

I had the same problem at first with randal baseplates but I made it work

Re: your dh setup
Flipping the hangar definitely does not change the degrees of the truck.
As far as I know, flipping paris hangars do not change anything, I am not sure about paris hangars and randal plates though

its prob not 10 but heres a diagram

edit: wait are we talking about paris?
edit2: i dont have paris, but i believe one side has a deeper bushing seat so it would be the same as randals. crails are symmetrical
edit3: angle doesnt change but ride height does, about a 1/3"

yeah I'm pretty sure flipping hangers on any truck does not affect the angle at which the truck turns, but it does change the the turning leverage, wheelbase and ride height

thats probably more what i wanted to hear thanks
im really only planning to use it as transit and cruising when im with my friends so its more like mild hills every now and then
and paris kingpins dont come out of the bp so i've heard?
any idea weather or not i'd get wheelbite with small riser pads and lime freerides?

Re: your dh setup
paris kingpins are knurled in, so they take alot of effort to get out. if this isn;t for a dedicated downhill setup, then regular old randal 42's will work.

Re: your dh setup
Have any of you actually seen a pair of Paris? One side is very much deeper than the other. It makes a big difference if you flip the hangers.

that seems pretty right to me, i got alot of wheelbite with randals unflipped on 42 degree plates (altho we are talking about paris) and when i flipped the hangars, my problems went away =D
other than that, i havent looked at a paris hard enough, but by looking at my randal hangars, there is more rub and contact on the bottom bushing from the hangar because its flipped, if its like that for the paris, is there any possibility thats a factor to having less leverage or lean?
