Thats the Delrin Pivot tube. it has been beveled at the end so it fits in nicer.
Haven't spent much time on these trucks, but from what i have gathered so far, these are my favorite trucks to date.

I see....
I've had my Jimz for about a month, and totally agree. At first I thought the spherical was a little weird feeling, but once I got used to, it all was good.

agreed that flipping the hanger increases wheelbite, due to the fact that it brings the axle closer to the deck

well i havent gotten wheelbite, i wasnt even thinking of that because im riding my randals on a Nemesis.
and i have my sh!t kranked down pretty good, and its still turny, just not sloppy turny to the point where it feels like you arent turning as much as the lean. if any of that makes sense lol

my friend has my 35 degree plates and i am waiting for him to give them back to me so i can throw my JimZs on there, but they seem really nice so far on the 42s. you just think about turning and they go

That sounds like my kind of topmount setup, Petary.
To all you guys talking about flipping your Paris hangers:
IME, flipping them can actually make your board feel more tippy and less turny, because it flattens (sucking it "up" into the board) out the roll axis a bit. And yes, because the seat on one side is deeper, and the axle moves round to the back. I think it feels wack on a topmount, but better on a dropped board, or even a drop-thru.
