I crashed my Avenger a while back, and ended up sliding along with the board upside down, at one point with me on top of it. The damage wasn't as bad as I'd thought it would have been, and I just needed to repair one edge with some epoxy, and patch the grip tape. But seeing what was underneath the original grip got me thinking, so I ordered some clear grip tape, and threw a set of bears on it, and now it looks like this........

DBS sent me two different grades of grip, so I put the fine in the centre, and the rough on the edges.

Is it actually good clear grip?
Because as much as i love the looks of clear grip, i never found a good enough clear grip that lasted more than 3 weeks.

The only clear that I've ever lasted less than a half hour.It was kind of grippy, but I got a little bit of dirt on my shoes and after that it was pretty much dead.

Well the coarse stuff is really grippy, I'll let you know how it lasts, I've only done 6 or so runs on it so far............

gravity clear grip is pretty good stuff. It's coarser than jessup and a bit grippier as well.

Yes it's Keith. My mum, God bless her, always makes it sound so posh with her perfect English, and it kind of ticks me off a little, so when I saw that one of my heroes Keith Richards actually spells his name Keef, I thought I'd do the same, and it instantly made me feel much better. Hope that satifies the OCD, as I know what it's like.
