This board was born about 5 years ago when I asked Mike from Landy to make me a wood EVO with a carbon sheet on the bottum.

It's the board I learned to go fast on and to this day the one I feel the most comfortable at speed on.

It was looking a little worse for wear so I had it refinished by a buddy up here. All white other than the c/f. I'll be throwing JimZ trucks and Gummies on it as usual and I imagine it will never look this pretty again.

I wish my evo looked this nice.

I really want to repaint my evo in a glossy color.

Indeed. It is no longer a stiff dropthrough downhillboard with a 40ish length, 32ish WB and 10ish width.
That is why they have changed the name, from Hellcat.. to Hellcat.

The Carbon on the left is the 08 design the 09 is on the right...the waist is really different on these two boards which all other things being equal will mean that the 09 is softer flexing, maybe a little damper as well

I'm not the pressings are nothing alike the 09 is thinner, the W probably makes up for some of that but likely not all. The 09 is probably softer and damper than the 08's which is a good direction to evolve.
