On nice concrete 76mm Flys are very nice but on rough pavement they run a bit hard.

This morning I've been tinkering with my smokeys on my evo and, in comparison to my hairpins, the evo wins!

    -Evo (11ply, with rails)
    -Bear Smokeys, black Jimz bushings
    -83mm 75a flywheels
    -1/2 inch risers
-De-wedged the front and wedged the back a tad

    I love it.

Evo set up with 90mm flys and smokey trucks. i put on 1/2 inch risers on after the pics so i could loosen up the trucks a bit more

i took it down the parkade and realy enjoyed it, learned to standup completely soooooo much fun. but its still realy sketchy riding with a cast.... cant put my hand down at all.

cant wait to get this cast off....i find out how long it is that i have it on, on the 29th.... 5 more months if its bad and need surgery, 3 more weeks if its good....

notice how my front truck is wider......

Thumbs up Re: your dh setup

The Demon Seed rides very smoothly, no clatter or twitchiness on the 180 Fuks, my friend Gumby was so impressed with the set up, he and I ordered some more Fuks from Wax yesterday. I planning to take this baby out for a very fast ride this weekend.

    F**K! I didn't know they were doing 200mm versions. I have the standard 174 hanger, I would've loved to have had 200mm.

so i decided to change things up a bit, i gave skatardude the proto confederate trucks off my board last weekend, so i decided to try out the bear grizzlies.

    new setup....
    short wb s9race
    modified bear grizzlies
    upgraded grade8 kingpins,
changed the pivot cup, to a piece of 3/4 od 1/2 id fiber reinforced tubing
milled out part of the hanger so that stim shaped bushings do not push the hangers out of alignment, i tried it with my jimz's last weekend and things got ugly
    tracker green superball bottom bushings
tracker green stim front top bushing, blue stim rear top bushing
radiused edge split duro abec11 bigzigs, i found that riding them on a topmount they are very unpredictable in the corners, so i decided to radius the edges and it made a world of difference, these are the best wheels ive ever ridden....

ill post picks when i get home...

They are not doing a 200mm version... If you ask them and are ready to pay a few extra dollars, they can do it for you.
