hey burnout how do you like the asym? a lot heavier than the mm isnt it?
haha it is, but i just felt lost on the mm the standing platform is HUGE and i could never get my feet right. the asym is really sick, i'm diggin the extra toeside concave.
it wouldnt offer too mcuh grip. but then again wheels could change that
where do people get this? have you dropped an asym through?
its a deck with a small amount of drop-if you drop it through it will be similar to any other drop thru board except with the extra amount of lowered platform.
i have had lowered decks and double drop decks that have gripped more than top mounts.
grip comes mostly from a riders style-then the setup

i think i would agree with this. my revenger can be quite drifty at times, and grip does come largely from technique/style. i think that more than anything, topmount vs drop vs dropthrough differ more so in how the board feels when it slides, and less in how much it slides. topmounts do typically offer a bit more grip than lowered platforms, but the deck is not all that should be considered.
i guess i'm undeducated but what shape is the dubes bushing....not stepped is it
This is a bushing I made a couple years back. I posted it before a bit back and someone said it was the same as a dubes shape (I made mine first of course ) but yeah,
