when you say stability you actually mean lean restriction more lean restriction means a faster return to center which sounds like more rebound to me

yeah but ideally you'd want more rebound without all the turn and lean restriction...which is why venom barrels took off in popularity. honestly after using good quality barrels i'll never skate a stim again, i had no idea how much restriction they were causing, i knew it was some but the actual amount was ridiculous

Never skate a stim again? Bushing shapes are all about the bushing seats.

Some trucks are designed for large bushings, some are designed for barrels. \

That is why you dont see too many people riding barrels all around in a truck like
a talon.

I just prefer bigger bushings in them. I mean, the bushing seat is enourmous, so why not take advantage of it? haha

i have barrels all around in my jimz trucks which are designed for a massive bushing and have come to prefer it far over the stims, as with barrels in my kahas, bombers, randals, and paris

honestly i feel that stims restrict the natural feel of a skateboard. but there's different strokes for different folks

well what is the natural feel of a skateboard? turning? stims turn. some think the 'natural' feel of a board is ollies, manuals, stuff like that. all in all, to me, its having complete control over your board. if stims help you do that, then doesn't restrict the 'natural' feel.
