it's all preference. both lean a lot, but you can't compare the two directly because they are different geometry trucks. i have used both and they work great topmounted. indys are prone to be more susceptible to wobbles, but you can overcome that with practice (and a wedge/dewedge combo).
indys make it lowwwww

They both have very different feels, u cant compare them in such a way, it's all personal preferance.
indys are very low and can be troublesome when u hit a reflector or rock

With Indys you need to be carefull of kingpin bite if you're running less than 75mm wheels also.
Indys on a top mount will be lower yes but more than likely you will need risers anyway to avoid wheelbite so saying they're lower than 42* isn't exactly corect. Unless you topmount has good wheel wells or coutouts that is. Also, if you need to wedge them that will increase their ride height also.

Upsetter runs his Cindrich 90* Indy plates with a 10* wedge up front. You can see it in the video he posted in the Indy DH Baseplate thread.
