i understand personal preference. ive stepped on boards with mellow lookin concave before and have found that they are quite ample so im curious as to whether or not its an optical illusion that the concave appears so mellow or if that is truly how the concave is.

Re: your dh setup
The new DH Madrid boards all come from the same mold, but i assume the David Price has more concave because its wider on account that it keeps getting steeper the wider the board.

Yeah mate...im already very used to indys. Never dewedged them, always flat, because i get a lower board and makes the feeling right on spot.
Indys tend to give bit more flex because of the axle placement...its more forward towards the end hole, so real axle to axle increases.
But i have already chopped it...it was way to more flex.
I gained the board on a competition, so there where no regrets chopping it in the first day i set it up....
Ill put pics during the afternoon...
To Streetheap, youre gonna love the new 1975 shape....
Ah, all bushings are black khiros...since i weight 80 kg.
Cheers

Are gators fun for DH? I don't see many people use them, although they seemed legit back in the day, are they still competitive?

interesting question, I use the red 81a gators on my DH board, I feel they are a compromise wheel, not as sticky as a Zig,Otang, Avila etc. but also not as slippery as a freeride/round lipped wheel. I really like them especially in colder weather where I have found them to outperform some of the stickier wheels
