S9 wheels that are NOT Race Formula are VERY VERY drifty and smooth. Very little grip to be spoken about them.
The Red Graphic 78A ones are one of best wheels I've ridden for straight line bombing, it's my secret wheels for gettin' passed Niko D on our straight fast hills up here in quebec
Oh ya, i forgot to say that ghost thane is really really fast. Arguably the fastest thane around, but almost worthless unless its straight because it doesnt grip.
Autumn-coloured bushes eat graphics. It's already happened with the DS as you can see.

Are gators fun for DH? I don't see many people use them, although they seemed legit back in the day, are they still competitive?

Sweet.
The 0* really makes for a stable ass end. Im running 10/0 on my Mercado and 10/5 on my Asym. I think I'll probably go with 10/10 on my NOLA Freeride (when it's done). I'm liking just riding Indys again. It's what I learned on, and probably what I'll retire on.
I rode my buddy's board with Crails the other day and I was pretty off kilter. I went to speedcheck and the board just GRIPPED, then broke free, then gripped HARD. Took some getting used to again.
