I just like reds because they have always been good. Lasted 3 years and run as if they are new (because i clean them at least 1 a month)

^ that's why i like bones swiss. i clean them like 2-3 times a year and they last for four or five. i've still got some bones swiss from sixth grade, and they work fine, sound like crap, but they spin really well still.

Is there enough ground clearance on that Deelite Hellcat? I couldn't ever run 08 smokies with anything less than 75mm wheels without the kingpin grinding or at least having it too close for comfort.. Especially with any decent sized top bushing.

On my son's Smokeys (thank you Jamie ), I took out the hanger spherical, flipped the hangers and put blue bones HCs as the top bushing. Just running red Khiro barrels in the bottom. The hanger of course remains fairly low, but at least he doesn't have to worry about KP scrapes when he goes flying off the front porch, over curbs, etc. Plus they lean alot more that way.

Welcome dude. Yah the hanger sphericals are really restrictive to the lean. They have their pros and cons for sure. I never ran them with hanger sphericals. In fact, I've never run them with a urethane plug either. I just ran a green venom barrel bottom (shaved a bit,) and a yellow Venom top (in place of the spherical) with a nylon washer on the top bushing then a 10mm precision speed ring on top of the washer. Works pretty well that way.

I'm running my 08 smokeys dropped with out the sphericals on my hellcat, I get a rattle unless I'm running a plug (khiro barrell) where the sphericals would normally go. Got a lime reflex barrell on the bottom and yellow elim on the top (front and back) Getting more lean but does'nt throw like a randal 180 or my 204 Kahas.
