It's not impossible, I've seen him ride it. The wheels don't hit each other. Granted he was just screwing around on a bike path, but he and a couple of other guys were riding it. His name's Chris, he's from Eugene and races in the PDX series. If you want to see it for yourself just ask him at the next race.

Yeah, the wheels do hit eachother, but you have to turn pretty hard to make it enough that you fall off. It's like wearing one roller-skate.
It's actually disassembled right now. Needed parts.
