You must be quite sluggish my friend. At 260lbs, a 91a eliminator is definitely not too hard. I used to run red elims in my smokies, and they weren't too hard for me at 180-185lbs. What speeds do you ride at?

I have hit 40-45 on bear grizzlies with all red barrels, i just like to have my setups be really turny. Anything under like 30 or so and I run 85s over 90s. In my indys right now I am running red barrels over green barrels and it is pretty perfect for how I like to ride. A lot of my much lighter friends wont ride my setups because they say they are too loose. And since I broke my ankle I have found I like my bushings even softer so its easier for me to turn the board with less force.

Mmm. Well its not worth even talking about bushings for two reasons.
1. Its all arbitrary because its all individual rider preference.
2. You don't really downhill, so it makes sense that you wouldn't like 91a elims.
Not sure why you'd try them unless it was on a DH setup in the first place though. I think thats where I got caught up.

What do you mean i dont really downhill? 40-45mph is not considered DH?

I mean, IDK, I wouldn't consider what you do "DH" just because you said that you like your setups super loose and you're 260lbs and your friends that are lighter than you say that your stuff is too loose. I took my Toecutter to 44.6mph the other day with Indys and yellow reflex barrels. I can hangerbite easily by moving the hanger with my hands. If you can take turns easily at 45mph, maybe you DH. When you say that you went 40-45mph, I automatically assume that you do what 95% of people on Silverfish do and guess, or go by a car's speedometer which drives behind you etc, which is inaccurate. So I was initially thinking that your top speed was probably around 40mph, which is not DH. Do you race at events?
I wasn't trying to be offensive, or talk down to you, just from those last couple posts I assumed that you didn't DH, or you are just an up-and-comer.

I have done some races in the PDX race series this summer, but I broke my ankle. So I havnt raced much, but plan on doing a bunch next year. I am just estimating, but have definitely gone over 45mph before. That is just kind of the average speed of most of the runs here. I wasnt offended, it is hard to tell sarcasm over the internetz.

IDK man, like I said I assumed he didn't because of his earlier posts, and no, I wouldn't consider someone who's top speed is 40mph someone who does DH. When my top speed was 40mph, I sucked at skateboarding all together. Also, like I said before, if you can take turns at those speeds, E.g. ride Maryhill, fine, you DH. I meant no disrespect, I just assumed that since he didn't go faster than 40mph, and he likes super janky setups, he didn't DH. That's all sorry dude if you do DH. I didn't mean to discourage you.
