the 09 is a lot better all around board than the 08 and before, but either way they're all good solid built decks. you'll have little buyer's remorse.

Heh, 2 of them in the back and one in the front is silver so you can't see them. I do only have 3 bolts up front though, need to sort that out...

Do you have a bunch of custom decks? Post up some pics. I'm not being an e-tough guy or anything I just want to see what you have.

And to others, the decks you ride and the trucks you mount on them don't reflect in any way your skill level. Brian Peck won the Pennsyltuckey Derby on 50* Paris 180mm trucks pushing 60mph. Ride what you're comfortable on.

My one buddy wants to ride precisions, but he never has gone above 35mph, and doesn't have leathers etc. Mostly rides a 30mph hill and carves and cruises around. Not sure what the point of having restrictive downhill based precision trucks for that sort of riding. I guess he thinks it's going to help, or he will be better just because he rides precision trucks.

There's nothing wrong with cookie cutter decks either. 99% of the best riders in the world and on the IGSA all ride decks that are in mass production.

speed actually does have some nice stuff. just dont let him get to you. if you like your board thats all that matters. so what if someone doesnt like your evo. a board is a board. although you have nice stuff speed, it doesnt mean none of us can't beat you down a hill. skill > gear.
