Re: your dh setup
Is that a force 35deg in the back of your loki?
I put a 35 randal on the back of my pagan and it put the wheels right under the wells... I could hardly turn with it dropped without biting.
I dont think force and randal plates are different, are they?

please no more, or at least post a pic of your dh setup with any slight towards someone on here.

thank you. there are soooo many runs that are techy in the east. there are probobly tons of tech runs all over the world. i dont believe in generalizing an areas runs. its really dumb. what happens is "hotspots" of speedboarders accumulate and then people go there or see pics from there they assume thats all the whole region has to offer.

I taught him how to push and foot brake, and bomb some hills." And that person themself can't footbrake at a speed above 15mph. It probably annoys you that I say this because you're one of those people who say you downhill but you never broke 40mph.
I never meant to offend anyone or sound like a dick, I'm just annoyed because there are 50 some people registered for the longboard club here. 45 of them say that they downhill. 30 of those haven't even broken the mould of their wheels. Of those other 15, 1 of them has gone over 35mph, and NOBODY on this campus will ride a god damn hill with me.
Jar, let me take your side here. I don't think you're being a dick at all. I've experienced this same frustration. In fact, anyone who is bashing you about you voicing this indeed doesn't know you like you said. I feel like I know you because this problem hits close to home for me. It is absurdly prevalent in Santa Barbara. I know how you feel. You go to a party and someone's talking about "bombing hills" so you get all stoked only to find out that the guy's 50mph runs happened to take place on a half-mile straight run that maxes out at 35mph if you have a superb tuck.
If I went to Penn State I would ride hills with you.
So for whoever was saying nobody cares about jar's vent: why are you even reading his post? Just skip over it if it doesn't affect you. You're spamming the thread just as much with your bitching about his bitching. Isn't that ironic?
