gator grip (super grippy grip on sundae skate) will help

It is what I use, but my local shop is waiting on more so toestop is good for now. Have it on all my other decks. Footstop makes me feel a bit more secure. Everything gets slippery after a few hours of rain.

Re: your dh setup
serge, why the s9... when you had the tactis or other rainproof and much better suited decks back here? surely the glyde would have been really nice to have over there. but i cant lie, some s9's are hella nice

Re: your dh setup
Hehe I guess you didnt catch the irony about "my dh setup in the netherlands"
I gave the tactis to a friend, sold the glyde before my sk8 trip, s9 hooked me up with a sunset (warranty thing) so I figured why not give it a chance. It goes through daily rainshowers and comes out just fine. I am hella impressed. Only major issue is that it cant handle impacts at all without major dddamge.

How good are they for railing 40 mph corners? Not very.

'corners' is too vague. did you mean sweepers, hairpins...? i'll assume you mean sweepers and i can rail 40 mph sweepers fine with them.

Re: your dh setup
about the side winders, I wasn't putting them down or the guy who rides them. They'd be awesome for the "DH" runs I normally do... 30-40 with sweepers and a handful of pre drift corners. All I was saying was, I don't think they'd be the best for colorado type runs. My normal wheel is a durian or stimulus for my runs and a Cult Death Ray or Big Zig when I need the super grip.
