I've never been speedboarding in my life, but if I had to choose a budget downhill truck, I wouldn't choose R2s.

All that statement proves is that people on Silverfish trust other members' opinions way too much. How can you have an opinion on a product you've never ridden?

I have a set of R2's. I've bombed on them before. I can't say I've taken them past 30, or for long distance downhill runs, but I can say that it wasn't as comfortable as my friend's Crails.

It's like throwing an old Honda engine into a Ferrari. Sure it works, but there are no doubt better choices.

Once again, I'm not saying you can't go fast or compete with 500 dollar precision trucks, I'm just saying 30 dollar trucks on a couple hundred dollar deck still doesn't make much sense to me. I don't want to repeat the whole "BUT U CAN DU ANYTHINS ON RNADLS IF UR CRZY ENUF", but why bother when you've already spent that kind of money?

I agree. I've bent probably half a dozen pairs of randall hangers in the last couple years (rough roads, big wheels, drifts) and i've spent roughly what i would have on one pair of precision trucks. It's cost effective if nothing else,
