I attached my indy plates to a spare randal plate I had sitting around. Looking at the now modified Indy plate the new holes don't look inline with the original ones, they both look a little too left and right respectively.
Everything fits together perfectly though, so no complaints. I used a drill press to drill it out, took literally about a minute a plate

Randal use to have some bad QC issues before Breamo took over. if you have an old batch it could be misaligned thus giving you a "bad" template to work off of. but it works so its not anything to be concerned about.

Aah, I think it might be an old plate. I really like the old gen randal hangers better though. Nicer bushing seat IMO, fits 35* plate, and reflex bushings much better.
The holes were snugger on the bolts despite being the same size as the others so I drilled them a liiittlle bigger than normal and all was good. No more need to have the plate perfectly flat while putting it on the board.

sure as soon as my camera gets back from the repair shop
basicly what i did was i got a pivit cup that fit the bears pivit point then used some heat molded plastic (my friend had some left over from a project) then used that to make a filler for in between the pivit cup and the pivit cup hole of the randals... there really isnt any performance gain, its more of a mental thing for me, i like having a bit of a beefier hanger and i also like how the randal plates are a bit thicker than the bears ones... however i really like useing randal hangers on bear plates on my vanguard it gives a nice carvy feel plus the fact the metal on the botttom of a bear plate is slighty thinner than a randals, allowing me to run a shockpad with littler height gain, as for that my pivit cup for my bears was really worn so the randals just worked
oh, and glad the indys worked out far ya!
hope that helped

abso-****ing-lutely. i chopped a few decks and they have all turned out better. currently loving my chopped hellcat, and i just set up my chopped jp36 with bears we'll see how it goes.
chopping boards is not only fun its a good way to "customize" a ride and fit for you personally... cheaper than buying a new deck too
