You dont skate street do you?
Street shapes differ slightly, but the small differences make alot more of a difference on a street deck then a "longboard".
Shape of kicks, width of kicks, length of kicks, width ect.

Re: your dh setup
That and I don't believe a patent on the shape of a street deck exists. You can patent a product, but I do not believe you are infringing on the copyright of said product if it is made with different materials. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Now making your own TVS copy for yourself is one thing, obviously. But mass producing the same exact shape and idea would not only be pretty lame for TVS, which actually still makes boards though they are pretty sucky now, but it would disrespect the guys that came from that time and actually rode those boards.
The shape that I have is Gary Hardwicks shape. And being able to even have the real deal in my room gives me shivers when I look at it, and being able to ride a copy is pretty sweet for me. Obviously its not some epic shape, or has some ####### retarded patents like stupid krimes does, its jsut a respect thing, and I would like to keep it that way.

fullbag elise
touhou 204mm
plasma thane
just got the trucks today, then skated all the way out of town to bomb some sweet roads.

the board is much shorter than i have used before, and the touhou 204's are the widest trucks i've ever used, not to mention my first precisions. with purple and red venoms, tall cone up front.

Comet Pagan - 50 degree Bear baseplates with 195mm Paris hangers, 90a barrels all around except for roadside tail 93a - 70mm Orangatang 86a Stimulus
Super stable and turns/slides when needed/
P.S. If anyone has or knows someone who has 75mm or bigger on this board let me know, wouldn't mind knowing the setup to deal with wheelbite.
If you buy nice stuff, you worry about it.
If you buy crappy stuff, you enjoy it.
