ummm, since you say your gonna be gettin bigger why would you turn in the stronger of the two boards and get the weaker of the 2?
11 is stronger than 9
as dark as a black steer's toocus on a moonless prairie night.

I know that, but I was wondering about the difference for the time being. Thanks.

I had a hunch that you were below the age of 15...

Thanks...... I am sorry but that is just how it is, you need to deal with me. sorry, I try to be as mature as possible and if you could give me any pointers, I will gladly appreciate it. It will help me rather than just put me down.

Jam, for now the only problem with your 11 ply is that it will be heavy to carry on the way back up the hill. But once you start getting fat you'll be glad you have a stronger, stiffer deck for a speed board.
Bomb Hills, the 9 ply will be just perfect for your skinny butt.
I'm a man...I can change...if I have to...I guess.

Thanks a LOT man, I appreciate it. 8)

Really, honestly. You've got a good board... so the only thing which will help your skill, is riding it. Stop looking at it... stop thinking about it. Stop lying down next to it on the carpet and spinning the wheels. Just go ride it. Then, once you've realized the boards true beauty and that nothing is wrong with it... then you can stare at it and caress it.

Re: 11 ply?
Hi, Jam, Stick with you 11 ply if your intent is speedboarding. Stiff means more responsive. I am 125lbs and have flexy boards for carving, but the speedboard is better off stiff for response, direct response, save the trampoline motion for the carving. As you gain weight your deck will keep up with you. Even with your weight, you will still notice flex on your 11ply when you get on it. If you are looking for an all-around type of riding with your speedeck then maybe softer is better, but my advice is have two setups, one for serious speed, and the other for casual cruising. Your collection can build from there and you will eventually have everything in between and around JMO

I purchased my Evo and got myself an 11 ply deck. I am only 120 pounds and am 13 years old, my dad is 6'2" and is 210 pounds and I am definitely taking on his genes/ height and weight and growing a lot. I was wondering how much this will affect my preformance and skill at cornering and stuff. Do you think that I will have to return it and get a nine ply? Mile High nor any other sites seem to have it. I hope I can get some answers. Thanks very very much
