new G-speed custom deck
i got this in the mail the other day, im so stoked to ride it. taking a big Dh trip this weekend, so its going to be rad.... the board is amazing.. similar to the flush cut but with less drop and more style.... carbon/glass and some sort of metal top and bottom sheet, i dont know exactly what it is... a few people have guessed titinol(sp) but anyway here are the pics

flushed pogos with comp2s 90mm flys 80a ( or something like that i forget the duro)
its hard to see the drop in this picture, but it feels so good on your feet, totally locks you in..
its also drop through. i still have yet to see another flushed pogo board.. is that maybe because its a bad idea? godspeed doesnt offer it really, but i asked nicely and got mark to do it for me on this g-speed and my last one too....
a little bit of hype about the company
when i first heard of godspeed i was like okay pretty cool idea, then i saved up some serious coin to buy my first one, about 250-300 bucks (i had him add some extras, extra carbon fiber so it was stiff as a rock and flushed pogo mountings) when i got the board i was very surprised by its performace, steady as a rock, a great dh board
i finally got used to the setup and got it up to speeds around 100km/h give or take a few KM/H
after that i got sponsored by godspeed, and have been riding their boards ever since, this is the second one i have owned, and i get tons of compliments on it, and i have only had it for a few days.... mark (the owner and builder of godspeed) is an AMAZING guy, he is super nice, always willing to lend a hand and always comming up with new ideas, if you want something special done to your godspeed im sure he can do it.
i have asked him to build me a luge next, so i gotta save some serious coin for that
anyways what im saying is, if you want to try something different, tired of evo's or want to have something not alot of people have, try a godspeed, they perform, they look bad ass, and they are built just for you.

Re: new G-speed custom deck
oh.... forgot to mention.... DONT ask what that little hex bolt on the nose is for... cause i really dont know... the best we can figure out is that the titinol needs to be phyically bonded to the board along with resin and other stuff to keep it together...
lol i still need to call mark and figure it out

Re: new G-speed custom deck
we are planning on hitting that and a few other ones... some that may be even faster...
we have clocked by a car on the hill near beaver valley at 100kmh you might even be able to go a bit faster with a better tuck... my tuck kind of blows due to weak knees.. but its still going to be fun training for top challenge
