Top Speeds Anyone!! HOW FAST?

How fast have you guys gone? I rode next to my buddy's car today and we clocked 52mph on one of the biggest hills in baltimore. I am riding the big Luke Nozewalker and 85mm kryptos with Bones inside. I was just wondering if anyone has gone faster or broken 60mph. Let me know! Thanks...Treybonious

It is uncertain if I rode within the 50mph range but all my solid numbers are below 50mph, checked by way of chaser vehicle. I'm impressed that you went that fast with a tanker board and with 85mm wheels!

85mm wheels under a Luke Nosewalker meant you had to raise your board up a considerable amount, right? Or unless you modified the deck? What trucks are on it?

I've hit 40, that I know of for sure... but that was on a big deck, and I do not feel I have enough control to risk going much faster than that on a big flexy board. When I get my DH setup, I'll push it faster.....

fast enough to take like a 2 inch deep gash outa my elbow. road rash on my ass. rip up my shirt and a 1 inch deep gash on my knee. emergency room estimated 'round 30, cuz i landed straigh on my arm. they estimated by the length that i skidded on my various body parts. which i estimated. around 20-25 feet. sick stuff. so fun though, up until that point.

uha...i think i was doing somewhere close to 40 two different times. both were really big hills.

hey jc are you familiar with that thing gravity sells...the embedded
speed clock or something?

seems to be something similar could be built perusing the aisles
of a radioshack...or maybe some bike thingamajig would work?

i have no idea how fast i've ever gone at any point...crashing
or not...

i can only guess and that ain't fact...

I believe it is basically the same as a Vetta bike 'puter... s'muther posts around here...
It's do-able with a bike job; just takes some "Celtic-American Engineering".

Will I do? I was followed by a car... not too precise, but close enough for government work...

of course you'll do, why wouldn't you?

I guess without some gadget on the board itself, which i don't
really like the idea of much...a chase car is as accurate as you can get...

I agree. those add on spedo's will just clutter up my mobile "Home" entertainment system! Now Momona has me thinking of a Hibachi
and a two seater cooler, and I had to put the tiki torches on outriggers just to keep them from putting alight my stripped canvas circus tent longboard roof!
