You hear a lot of people on the forum talking about JimZ hangers or Landy Bears etc. But honestly if you're just starting DH you'll be more than fine using Force C7s, Crails, Flipped RIIs or Randal DH trucks. Yes the fancy trucks are nice (I have Bears myself) but they aren't really all that necessary IMO, especially when basic mid-level priced gear such as the above can work just as well.

right now i have randal 180 hangers with a 50* plate on the front and a 35* rear. had them up to 58ish yesterday. the raod is choppy so it was a little twitchy. jimz hangers are getting here tomorrow so those will probably takeover as my favorite.

IMO, the best downhill trucks for the buck are r2 180's and crails. rustyburrito55 runs loose r2 180's in excess of 50mph and i used to run my crails the same way at the same speeds, but when "work" came, i felt like giving myself a present so i got jimz's, and i can't run those as loose

yea right now I ride crails on one board and unflipped randal 180s on the other, both wicked loose. I havent really ridden any precision dh truck extensively but I think that eventually I will be getting a set of 45* radikal talons for my topmount

ive heard that term alot flipped randals but what are you flipping the axle or what?
