Re: 2007 IGSA World Cup Schedule
Do all of the races count for points or is it just the top 4, as I remember reading somewhere?
It looks pretty good and I'm going to have to figure out how to get to as many as possible.

Your best four races count toward the World Cup Series Championship.

What about the track at Mt Ventoux?
What side of the mountain are they running the race on?

Re: 2007 IGSA World Cup Schedule
We don't know exactly...
actually, I just read a post by Nina (who organises this event with Shrek) on Riderz saying that they were still waiting for confirmations.
When it will be ok, they will announce it.
Anyway it is supposed to be freaking fast!

Damiche, what do you think would be the best way to get around Europe? I've asked in other places, but I've never gotten a response. I was thinking of getting a Europass but they're so expensive.

depends where you wanna go. if the event is next to a city where one of the cheap airlines (orange and others whose names i cant remember) flying is actually faster and cheaper. but if not, shell out for trains sucka. to goto tourmalet from geneva, switz. took me 12 hours on a shitty ass train + ~1 hr on a bus. train ended up being about 200 bucks round trip.
id say if you're planning on being on the continent long enough to hit up several events (races and freerides....freerides ####### ROCK, look on riderz.net, they post up the list of events, it's in french but you can decipher the dates) i'd say it might be worth it to get a eurorail pass with like 7 days of travel that can be used whenever or something. and just hop across the continent.
if you can do it, i would recommend it very highly. all the riders are very friendly people, and the roads are well well well worth it. if i find myself in europe this summer, i'm hitting every freeride/race i can feasibly get myself to.
oh, riderz.net usually has very good info about a specific freeride too that u cant find online. Like i took a train to a town near tourmalet called lourdes, but i would have had no clue to take a bus from lourdes to tourmalet were it not for those guys. babelfish can prolly help you there, or hit me with a pm and ill decipher a certain chunk.
vive le freeride!!

I'm going for the month of July, doing those three Igsa races, and luckily, I speak french, so I'll check out that website.

Re: 2007 IGSA World Cup Schedule
The second week of September is a tough week for people in high school and college. Not sure if I'll be able to make it to Maryhill.

Yeah, I'm skipping a week of school to go to that race. Riley, will you be racing standup there yet? Or do you still have another year? I remember your brother saying that your parents wanted you to wait until you were 18, but I'm not sure. Either way, I hope to see you there.
