    Default Speedboard marathon

So I want to find a stretch of downhill that's 26.2 miles long and then throw a speedboard race down it. I think that'd be sick. What do you guys think?

bahahahah sorry dude but good luck...maybe Europe but I would be shocked beyond reason if you were able to find anything in the US that is even 10 miles of consistent downhill. (On the other hand though, If you do find a hill that is that long please get that race going because I would DEFINATELY be up for that)

Or 26.6 miles of downhills, flats, and uphills.
    That would be more marathon-like.

I dont think my legs could take it, even at a consistent 60 mph, it would take over 26 minutes of being in a tuck. But still, its a killer idea.

We have an 11 mile 5000 vertical drop hill just down the street from my house. If you ever make it out to Utah you should bomb it for sure.

My mistake on the distance of the hill. 26.6 sounds good. I think it would be crazy. No flat no ups. Just insane down hill action. Now just to find such a hill.

I agree that's what would make this so crazy it would be an endurance fest. I don't think anyone could tuck the whole thing.

I was just thinking about that. (The Volcano National Park) My friend and I were thinking about heading down there sometime, but transportation would be a little hard since we are only 16. I've been there once on a 4th grade field trip, but don't really remember how the roads were. Anyone know apporximately how fast you could go around the park?

Hey dude, I set up the board last night. I still cant ride for a few months, but my friend dox is in town, he's giving it some rippage. I'll shoot some photos and post them soon. It's a sweet ride. Project Speedboards are always good, but with jimz hangers and base plates plus ceramic bearings and 83 flys... Yeah it's crazy nice. Love it! Hope things are well in Ohio.

GMR is 8 miles, if I'm not mistaken.

Mt. Lemmon is 22 Miles, if I'm not mistaken.

I'm in for a long distance race at high speeds!

mt lemmon in az is like 23 miles i think.

the coquihala highway (TCH) in canada is like almost 2 hours at 70+ mph of downhill in a car, i duno if its been skated before. its an avg grade of over 8%

There's a road on the east side of tasmania the locals call 99 bend road... not sure of it's grade, surface or distance yet. but I'm planning to go check it out. It sounds sweet

Along time ago when i was younger, I was up and North Dakota right on the border of Canada, and there are some big hills up there. aka long. I couldn't tell you how long or big, because I wasn't longboarding at the time and didn't really care. Anyways, If you can find it on google earth or whatever, its a little town called Bottineau.

    http://bottineau.com/Photoalbum/100_2586.jpg

There it is, just found it. The hill goes up a little more too, but you get the idea. Theres about 100 more roads up there that are like that most of the rest are curvy though.
