    Default dump road - SoCal

    Hey

I live in Mission Viejo in Southern California and I was wondering if you guys could tell me where dump road is in so me and my friends can go skate it. Also, if you know of any other must-skate-hills around here then please let me know where those ones are too.

Thanks a lot. Maybe we can go skating there someday soon as well!

Dump Road is in Moreno Valley, and it's crucial that you only skate it when the dump is closed, ie Sundays. Your best bet is to hook up with the extremely friendly and chill group of skaters that hit it regularly (jrogers, drogers, Lit, DT, RJ Breakaway and more, all on the 'fish) so you can go out when there are enough people to do it safely (ie blocking the bottom of the road so you don't encounter a pickup truck at a closing speed of 90mph, little things like that) and with great skaters that will either get faster by skating with you or help you guys get faster by skating with them.

As with all killer outlaw locations, it's also important not to F-up the spot by doing something the locals know not to do. Check with these guys and you'll be stoked by the response you get.

No Friends (sounds like a sponger if you ask me)

i work in Mission Viejo. and skate around here often.

theres a few other locals that i'm going to introduce to speedboarding. i was reading your posts and you say you've gone 42???

    how did you stop?

going fast is the easy part, learning to control your speed, cornering next to other riders, and stopping is whats more important. along with a good positive attitude.

also we can help you with gear too. and point you in the right direction. i personally would go with a Rogers Bros Speedboard. they cost a little more but are well worth it. you can try some out too. riding is believing.

when me and my friends got up to 42 the road flattens out into a long straight away. If you know where olympiad rd is there is a gated community that is of the street stoneridge and there are 1-2 CRAZY hills in there.

D.T. you said you could get me some gear? I'm looking into getting leathers and a fullface helmet. I'm also going to get a speedboard and I am almost for sure going to get the landy DH but I don't really know what trucks or wheels to get. Getting into speedboarding is expensive . I will give you a call in the next 1-2 days.

    And yesss I sponge!!!!
