I also have a question to add if you all don't mind.
Anyone have a schedule of events type thing? as in I want to know when the earliest time is that I can leave on Sunday, and like the earliest/latest time I should arrive etc...thanks!!! (you would wonder where the hell the official DB guys are now???!!!!)

Monday-Friday : Skateboarding the Vancouver Hills.
Saturday : Slide Comp, Jake's Rash, Parade
Sunday : Race 8:30AM - 7:30PM or later
Danger Bay is held in Pender Harbour on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia.
That is however the old plan. Danger Bay 5 saw 136 racers last year and is expecting many more this year. In order to get all the riders down the hill it may take on a saturday qualifying/sunday race format. This is trying to be avoided as best possible because est. 175+ riders bombing a long easy hill like jakes rash is something many of us look forward too. The main reason for wanting the split is to put practice and qualifying, possibly even first pre-lims (first runs) on saturday then hold the main racing on sunday when all the fans turn out. Its really hurting the sport when 80% of the spectators leave the event before the finals because they get bord between brackets.
I raced at 16. Anna is... I think 9? She raced too.
There will be SOME sort of limit to the race this year, I think, if we get anything even close to the same number of racers as last year, it'll take too long to skate in a day.
there would never ever be an age limit or even different classes. DB is the vision and doing of one man, and that man is a ####### loon! (striker lyons) Its held as an open, no rules, run whatcha brung, push and shove, first man down wins.
