i have a landy dh with 90 mm 78a flys and randal 180 trucks one of the trucks is cracked not bent just cracked should i get new trucks?if so wut kinds do u guys suggest for bombing hills and taking corners at low and high speeds.........do u guys have any tips for gaining confidence in sliding at speeds......thanx

Get Crail's or Force Trucks. You should never have that problem with those BIG wheels with those two trucks. Yes they are more. You get the quality you pay for though.

..... its no harder bending crails or force trucks then with randals.

get a set of bear grizzly trucks. there 10mm axle and will resist bending much better then a 8mm axle trucks.

ive seen more brocken crails then randals were i work.

pendys aer really easy if you are going fast enough you just sit on your heel edge with a hand down and it practically does it for you. you arent going to be able to carry too much corner speed with the dh because of the drop. youll slide out a lot. i had that problem riding with i hate cops and skatardude10 on thurs they were riding topmounts and i had a dropthrough and kept sliding where they were gripping.

stuff and dash are right. the grizzly trucks are only a little more expensive than randals and crails and will hold up way better than anything especially if youre on 90mm flys not to mention they are way better quality than randals.

well sense you posted a question mark then im asuming your wondering why i said that? well from my experience on multiple dh races even at speeds its hard to turn corners and stick them becuase of the dewedged back and the extreme drop. not to mention the concave gives me cramps in my feet because my size 14 shoe is way to long for that skinny platform.

i noticed that too, you could always topmount your hairpin to make it grip more also. i was hesitant at first to do it with my demonseed but after i tried it i loved it and wanted to get a topmount from then. now look at me, im in love with it!

yeah i put the jimz's on my bombhills and took it to the garage the other day and it stuck like glue. the hairpin with the same stuff on it was sliding out a fair amount in the same garage. i think im gonna look into a s9 race deck but depending on cost just get a new bombhills and add a stringer to stiffen it up. probably keep the hairpin for commuting/drifting maybe put my brothers blue kryptos on it...

I stick corners on my evo just fine. My friend's DH is the same way. It's all in the rider and how they control their board. Also wheels play a pretty big part on how easily it breaks off.
