ok so during my super session the other, at the end of one of my speedboard runs i decided i would slide to a stop, i was tired of footbraking, so i pull a pendy and my bboard chatters and jumps and my feet slip and i end up sitting on my board, but stopped
one of my speedvents got a little chew mark, but whatever, right?

didnt think twice about it

today when my (undsiclosed) trucks arrived, i took off the wheels of my forces, and on the (slightly) chewed vent i noticed some trouble taking it off, i took the bearings out and BEHOLD!!! the bearing spacer got MASHED into a goofy marshmellow shape!!
it happened to all of the spacers but one was particularly bad

weird story, never had spacers get compressed on me

time for titanium/ceramic spacers, eh?

I've heard of people using the inner racer of dead bearings, as spacers...
I'm not sure off the top of my head if they'll fit 'vents.

Just a thought. they'd sure as hell be hard enough!

Bearings are 7mm wide. So im not sure how'd you would get over that, there are some 8mm ID 10mm wide bearings in vxb so you could by 4 of those and disassemble them, even then, spacing in the wheels is .400".

Lets get togheter and get a couple hundred precision steel spacers.

about spacers, i have many extras, im not so desperate as to smash apart bearings and use the mangled inprecise inner races

I use Biltins in all my downhill/sliding boards, and when I'm not - I use precision spacers that I got from JBH. I use some 8mm/.300" ones he made in my Krypto's, along with abec 3 Pleasure Tools and they slide really nicely. There's no way I could ever damage these guys. Steel is all you need, aluminum=bad!
