leathers..... good?

I've been looking for some leathers for a while and I stumbled upon these on the net.... anyone know anything about these?

I emailed the guy but he doesnt seem to know much about them at all... mostly I'm interested in if they have the shoulder, knee and elbow plastic inserts.... anyone know?

yeha, def get armor built in, cus it sucks to fall without it, and if there is none, you are gna want kneepads too.

what about motorcycle/mountain bike armors? everyone wears leathers but they're super expensive. im researched some armors that look like they would fit. anyone know anything or have any suggestions about that?

They pretty much suck compared to leathers becuase they rip so easily. If you arn't to into going fast they would be fine I guess but they would catch more air as you go fast slowing you down and could be dangerous. The whole point of leather is becuase it has a good balance of slide and grip therefore slowing you down quickly unlike plastic where you will continue sliding into the curb or whatever at 4o mph IMO go for leathers, or atleast a leather jacket that you can buy pants for later
