Personally, I don't like 11 plys so I would go 9ply Evo. The wedge up front is really nice if you are using low angle trucks too because you will still be able to turn, but be very stable because of the wedge in the back.

how much do you weigh? i think either evo or the bh. and of the two i prefer the bh cause its just simpler. but the evo is very stiff which is nice. they both have different advantages. what type of riding are you gonna be doing? do you like traction or do you like drifting? what other boards have you ridden and what did you like or dislike about them?

if its your first just get the bh and ride then figure out what you want to be different and figure out how do make it do that, or get a different board that will ride more like you would like it to.

If this is your first board, go BH.

P.S. Landy isn't making 9 ply boards anymore. At least that is their most current standing so far.

i have an evo and let me tell you its an awesome deck and the extra money was well spent. However i did pick up a BH deck but havent had the time to set it up but i am exited about it.

Get any one of 'em. In two months' time you will love it and be willing to be abusive at anyone who says anything negative about it. I've ridden the DHR, the Evo and a Kebbek Ian Comishin. Guess what?..they're all friggin' excellent boards, any one of which I'd love to own (one of which I do, but for the sake of balance, i'm not gonna say which). Seriously, between the DH and the Evo, you can make each one feel like the other with wedges, risers, wheel size, bushings etc. The main difference in the way they come setup is that the DH likes to drift when pushed and the Evo likes to slide. But you can change all of that with a turn of the kingpin nut. Just accept the fact that whatever you get, you're going to spend a couple of months tuning it to the style you like, and that by then it will be completely different to what you got in the first place. That's the whole fun of it.
One thing - don't buy because of the graphic - you'll scrape it all off in a week, or at least, you should.

evo...i have a caften and im in love i have never actually ridden an evo but i hear they are similar. Ive never ridden any of those but the bomb hills and i wasnt entirely thrilled with that ride
